If you need to change email addresses, unsubscribe with the old one and then subscribe with the new address.

To subscribe or unsubscribe by email, click the link of choice below.  An email message will open already addressed.  Just click send.....that's it!!  You will receive a confirmation email from Yahoogroups almost immediately.  You MUST reply to it to join.  Just click REPLY and SEND.

By setting yourself at No Mail when you are gone, it prevents your mailbox from reaching it's limit and returning mail to sender.  At Yahoogroups, you will go into the 'Bounce' section and must be reset before you will receive mail once again.

How to change your email address at Yahoo.
Requires YahooID & Password

1. Log in at Yahoogroups

2. Click on the Account Info link at the top

3. Enter your password

4. Click the Edit button for the section showing email addresses

5. Add your new email address and click Finished

6. Click the Edit button for the section showing email addresses AGAIN

7. Click the "Unverified" link below the box with your new email address

8. Click the button to send an email verification

9. Check your email and click on the URL in the verification email from Yahoo

10. Fill in your password and click the button (some people have had difficulty at this point with Yahoo not accepting their password, if that happens, wait 24 hours and try the URL again)

11. Go back to Yahoogroups to your MyGroups page

12. Click on the "Membership Wizard" link and follow the instructions there

13. Go back to your MyGroups page

14. Click on "Edit My Groups" and change your email address on the lists you want moved to your new address and click the Save Changes button

Caution! If you are a listowner or moderator and want to change your listowner address, I do not suggest using the Edit My Groups to change your email address. Instead, complete steps 1 thru 11 and then do this:

12. Go to the groups that you own/moderate and use the Add feature to subscribe your new email address to the lists

13. Wait 1-7 days (this is so that your new address gets distributed to all the Yahoogroups databases)

14. Go back to the groups you own/moderate and make your new address a moderator with full privileges (if you're a moderator, you may have to ask the listowner to
promote your new address to moderator level)

15. Wait at least 1-7 days (again so that the changes get distributed to all the databases.....Ygroups is slow to update)

16. Remove your old email address or better yet, leave it subscribed but set it to NoMail. It's always good to have a backup email address with moderator/owner
privileges.

Care should be exercised in changing email addresses, listowners have lost access to their lists during this process. It's always good to have a backup address like Yahoo mail or Hotmail subscribed to your lists with full moderator privileges and associated with a second Yahoo ID so that if the process of changing your email address goes wrong, you can log in on that other ID and do any necessary list administrative work and possibly fix the problems with main email address by adding to the list and promoting it.
