I offer the tutorials freely to you for learning purposes.  I hope you find them useful.  As always, proceed at your own risk.  Read through it first to see if you understand it and always follow them word for word, step by step.  Do not rush or skip any steps.  I am only responsible for 'my' errors. *S*
The tutorials are for personal use only.  Please do not modify, redistribute in any manner, place in any collections on websites or CD's for profit or otherwise, link to, remove, or claim as your own any files from these pages.  If you'd like to refer to any of the tutorials, please just provide a link or email me for permission to use the entire tutorial.  All tutorials and graphics were created by me unless otherwise stated.  It's perfectly ok, and encouraged, to share the link with friends who might find them useful.

***This tutorial was written in/for Win98/98SE, but also applies to WinXP.  The boxes in the screenshots below will look different but the settings are basically the same.

1. Right click on your desktop and click on properties

2. In the Display Properties box, click Browse  [Win98/98SE screenshot below]
**XP USERS:  When your Display Properties window opens, click the "Desktop" tab to show this window.

3. The Open box will come up.  Click the black triangle (1) and navigate to your Stationery folder.  C:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\stationery.  Click on either the html or jpg(graphic/picture) (2) to select the stationery you want as your wallpaper.
**Note** If there is more than 1 jpg file (kk_name.jpg & kk_namebg.jpg) for that stationery, choose the html file**
Click Open (3).  If there is only 1 jpg for a stationery, it is better to choose "jpg".  A lot of the stationery will have the words "Text goes here" in the html version.

4. [Win 98/98SE only]  The Internet Explorer box will pop up asking if you want to enable Active Desktop......click Yes.
**Active Desktop must be enabled to set stationery or jpg's as wallpaper**

5. You will be back to the Display Properties box.  Click the black triangle under Display and select Tile.  Click Apply.  Your desktop will change to the wallpaper you selected.  Click OK to exit the Display box.
