***This tutorial was written in/for Win98/98SE, but also applies to WinXP. The boxes in the screenshots below will look different but the settings are basically the same. |

1. Right click on your desktop and click on properties |
|

2. In the Display Properties
box, click Browse [Win98/98SE
screenshot below] |

3. The Open box will come
up. Click the black triangle (1) and
navigate to your Stationery folder. C:\program
files\common files\microsoft shared\stationery. Click on
either the html |
|
|
|
4. [Win 98/98SE only] The Internet Explorer box
will pop up asking if you want to enable Active Desktop......click Yes. |
|
|
|
5. You will be back to the Display Properties box. Click the black triangle under Display and select Tile. Click Apply. Your desktop will change to the wallpaper you selected. Click OK to exit the Display box. |
